It also provides some great scenery for our Film and Media class. I love walking there, even by myself. Thanks so much for sharing its history!conlinscornerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14694681097475475957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3945719747276028760.post-35595565692750636632012-09-01T11:24:22.624-04:002012-09-01T11:24:22.624-04:00The Abel Jeanes Mansion is on the west side of Upp...The Abel Jeanes Mansion is on the west side of Upper Pike Creek Road, almost directly across from the barn. There is a picture of it in the first of the Eastburn-Jeanes posts, with the link "history" at the beginning of this post.Scott Pnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3945719747276028760.post-55947375527249279202012-09-01T01:37:11.696-04:002012-09-01T01:37:11.696-04:00

I was researching my Springer side recenlty when I found some of my Springer cousins are cousins to Priscilla Brackin wife of Abel. I've got Priscilla in my tree at http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=rjmorrison&id=I15656 Priscilla is daughter of William Brackin and Elizabeth Evans. William's descendants are at http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=DESC&db=rjmorrison&id=I15659

This supports one of my Springer cousins lines - the Springers have been around so long that we'/re related to everyone in NCC.mercur81https://www.blogger.com/profile/09893318891706388740noreply@blogger.com
