The only remains that can be seen from the greenway that I am aware of is the stone house, barn and wall that make up the Old Ball/ Dr. Harlan's Plumbstead Farm. With that being said, if there is something that I have missed, please let me know for I am super interested in the Old Woolen Mill that is noted on several of the maps. It seems to me to be closer to Mermaid Stoney Batter Rd.Dave Olsennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3945719747276028760.post-24751069834739642022015-11-11T15:56:55.483-05:002015-11-11T15:56:55.483-05:00Cool! Mostly just names of owners through the years and a few mentions here and there. Seems to have pretty much faded away (at least for now).Scott Palmernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3945719747276028760.post-24050975183773653092015-11-09T19:49:45.398-05:002015-11-09T19:49:45.398-05:00i walked thru delcastle today, with falling leaves ...i walked thru delcastle today, with falling leaves and renovations, the seems to be more of the structures visible.also ,further down the greenway trail, more of the old woolen mill appears to be emerging from the undergrowth.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3945719747276028760.post-45024706131358107782015-08-19T10:02:52.764-04:002015-08-19T10:02:52.764-04:00Thanks. The date looks about right for the house, but what I think is more relevant is the fact that the owners seem to have other historical items in the yard. I'd like to get up there and ask them about it (and fill them in on the others), but I'm not sure when I'll have the chance.Scott Palmernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3945719747276028760.post-51940709017585532672015-08-19T01:14:43.053-04:002015-08-19T01:14:43.053-04:00https://www.google.com/maps/@39.7841431,-75.688280...https://www.google.com/maps/@39.7841431,-75.6882802,3a,16.8y,281.58h,69.99t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sgO-lrNhktRlVUohuXqWKgw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

Zillow says the house behind it was built in 1933Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3945719747276028760.post-72716910319634241122015-07-30T13:28:27.891-04:002015-07-30T13:28:27.891-04:00Rather have the car...Rather have the car...Larry Tnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3945719747276028760.post-5363436201706468092015-07-30T13:22:57.193-04:002015-07-30T13:22:57.193-04:00You know, with the tax liability that would impose...You know, with the tax liability that would impose on you, I just wouldn't want to do that to you.
