MCH History Event -- Location Obtained!!!

Great news! I got a place for us to have our meeting/gathering/event/whatever this is!!! It's an awesome site, but I'm not going to reveal the location just yet. All I'll say for now is that it is in Mill Creek Hundred, and should be easily accessible for everyone. It seemed like the general consensus was that a weekend afternoon was the best fit for the most people. Because of that, I've tentatively reserved the space for Saturday, February 23, 2013. I don't have a time yet, but I was thinking 2:00? How does this sound to everyone?

If anyone has any thoughts on the time and date, let me know. I hope the 23rd is good for everyone, or at least as close as we can get to everyone. I couldn't be happier with the venue, and I'm sure you all will be as excited as I am. If we get some feedback and the specifics seem OK, I'll post more info over the weekend. Stay tuned.....

    1. Excuses, excuses. C'mon, you would literally only be missing 1% of all the birthdays she's had. Or bring her along! She might even feel young -- our venue is a lot older than she is. Ooops, perhaps I've said too much....

All kidding aside, enjoy the party. I hope someday that someone gets to come to my 100th birthday. Like me, for instance. And if this event goes well, I have every intention for there to be more. Right now, I'm liking the idea of having an outdoor one in the spring, like at Brandywine Springs. We'll see how things play out.

  8. They're always there, they just usually don't get through. Blogger has a decent spam filter that stops most of them, but once in a while they get through. I did one other thing recently to try to help, which some may have come across. I set it up so that comments on any post older than 30 days have to be moderated, which just means that I have to go in and "approve" them before they show on the blog. I generally check things several times a day, so your comment should go up before too long, and I can delete the spam filter and anything that sneaks through. Just the price of fame, I guess. :)

That being said, if anyone needs any help, um, making anything larger, or if you want info on villas in Spain, let me know. And fake sunglasses, too.
